American classical and popular song.

from a sizzling stovetop in Martin Hennessy’s “Crocque Monsieur”
to city pavements in Dolly Parton’s “9-5,”
from a Utah ranch in Craig Bohmler's "The Ballad of Milly Erne"
to Appalachia in Aaron Copland’s “Simple Gifts.”
With melodies from the opera house, concert hall, Broadway,
North American Indigenous Songbook and
open fields under an open sky
we celebrate all the many wonderful things we are.
