Leave your troubles at the door and
have some fun with acclaimed duo Slywotzky and Sytkowski as they perform
opera arias and show tunes,
classical and popular song.
The last time that
pianist David Sytkowski and I
took the stage together in Cambridge, MA, was in January 2019.
Along with tenor Josh Saunders we performed
a concert of classical musical and a cabaret of popular music.
Since then David and I have been experimenting with the concept of concert/cabaret,
including both classical and popular music in a single program and exploring storytelling through music across genres and styles.
We've been performing our unique shows in
New York City and elsewhere in New York State,
in New Hampshire and in Florida.
It's about time
we returned to Cambridge
with a concert/cabaret!
Cambridge is
where it all began for me, where I grew up
playing the violin and listening to cassette tapes of musicals (single cassette) and
Gilbert and Sullivan operettas (double cassette)
on a wonderful little purple machine.
I hope you'll join us for this homecoming and have some fun with us at
A Time for Fun!
